Terms of Service

These Terms explain the agreement between you and AkatsukI LLC for using JOIN SHEET. Purchase and payment terms for a Paddle order are separate and are linked below.

1. Who provides the service

AkatsukI LLC operates JOIN SHEET, its browser application, documentation, and product support. Company details and our contact address are on the Company & Regional Legal Notices page.

These Terms govern your use of JOIN SHEET. Please read them before creating an account or purchasing a plan. You must have legal capacity to enter the agreement, or the authorization required by applicable law. If you use the service for an organization, you must have authority to do so.

2. Features, plans, and device requirements

JOIN SHEET reads supported Excel and CSV files and copied data, lets you connect or append sheets, compare values, apply filters, preview results, and export results. The Pricing page describes what each plan includes and its limits; the dashboard applies those limits to the current account.

Spreadsheet work is intended for a supported desktop browser. File structure, result size, available memory, browser restrictions, and your organization’s policies can affect what you can process. A paid plan does not guarantee that every file or result size can be processed on every device.

3. Local processing and your work

Source spreadsheet values are processed in the browser rather than uploaded to JOIN SHEET for those spreadsheet operations. Website delivery, sign-in, plan verification, checkout, and support still use online services. The Privacy Notice and Security & Local Processing page explain this boundary.

When you click Save results, we first record account and click identifiers, the server timestamp, and verified plan and billing context online—not file contents. Saving cannot proceed without confirmation that the record was stored, so an internet connection is required.

Keep backups of original files and save important results before leaving or refreshing the workspace. JOIN SHEET is not a cloud backup of your sheets. Check selected columns, connection settings, duplicates, missing values, and exported results before making a business or other material decision. This does not remove our responsibility for defects or other obligations under applicable law.

4. Accounts and permission to use JOIN SHEET

Keep your sign-in method secure and use an account you are authorized to control. Contact us if you believe another person has accessed your account. Paid features depend on an authenticated account and confirmation of the applicable access rights; occasional online checks are required even though spreadsheet processing is local.

While you comply with these Terms and the applicable plan, you may use JOIN SHEET for lawful personal or internal business work. This permission does not transfer ownership of our software, brand, or documentation. Third-party components remain subject to their applicable licenses.

5. Ownership, recipes, and permitted use

You keep the rights you hold in your files and results. You are responsible for having permission to process the data, including personal or confidential information. We do not acquire ownership of source spreadsheet contents by allowing you to use the service.

A Data Recipe saves workflow settings rather than the original sheet data. File names, sheet names, column names, and filter values can still reveal sensitive information. Review a recipe before sharing it.

  • Do not use the service to violate laws or another person’s rights.
  • Do not access another account, bypass paid-access controls, resell account access, or deliberately disrupt the service.
  • Do not introduce malicious code or test systems outside the permission described in our Vulnerability Disclosure policy. Restrictions do not prevent activities that applicable law expressly permits.

6. Paid subscriptions and payment terms

For orders sold through Paddle, the Paddle entity identified at checkout is the authorized reseller and Merchant of Record responsible for the payment transaction. AkatsukI LLC provides the JOIN SHEET product and product support.

Read the selected plan, final checkout amount, billing interval, and renewal information before authorizing a purchase. Our Subscriptions, Cancellations & Refunds page explains cancellation and refund requests and links to the applicable Paddle documents. Free use and complimentary Pro access do not by themselves authorize recurring charges.

JOIN SHEET’s additional refund offer: request a refund within 7 days of each payment and receive a full refund of that charge if there is no server-recorded Save results click during the paid access period covered by it.

This offer does not limit applicable Paddle refund policies or decisions, or mandatory withdrawal and refund rights. More protective or non-waivable rights take priority.

7. Changes, availability, and access restrictions

We maintain and update the service. Interruptions can occur because of maintenance, network or provider problems, browser restrictions, or security incidents. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or a fixed service-level commitment unless separately agreed.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity, a material breach, confirmed loss of paid access, or a credible security risk. Notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue will be provided where appropriate or legally required; urgent protection may require action first. If a restriction appears incorrect, contact support for review.

Material changes to paid features, service discontinuation, and changes to these Terms remain subject to applicable notice, cancellation, and remedy requirements. A revised web page does not remove rights already acquired for a purchase.

8. Responsibility and consumer rights

We describe the service and its limits in good faith, but do not guarantee compatibility with every spreadsheet or that a result is suitable for a particular professional decision. We are responsible for our obligations and for loss attributable to us to the extent required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory consumer guarantees, defect remedies, refund rights, and privacy rights continue to apply. These Terms do not require you to waive those rights.

9. Ending use, complaints, and applicable law

You can stop using JOIN SHEET and request account deletion through the Privacy Request page. Cancel a paid subscription separately through its billing controls; logging out, deleting files, or deleting an account is not a subscription cancellation.

For a product or terms complaint, email contact@joinsheet.com with a description and any relevant account or transaction reference. Do not attach confidential source data. You remain free to use competent courts, regulators, statutory dispute-resolution channels, and lawful payment-dispute procedures.

Korean law governs your agreement with AkatsukI LLC without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or non-waivable jurisdiction rights in their place of residence. Paddle’s agreement has its own governing terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
